Published on Sunday, December 12, 2010 @ 1700 hrs. IST

Music and cultural programmes have again taken centre stage at Prasanthi Nilayam after the Birthday Celebrations After the encore of Prema Pravaham followed by music programme by the famous blues singer Dana Gillespie, this day (11th December 2010) was reserved for a ballet by the Bal Vikas children of Medak district of Andhra Pradesh. The entire gamut of life of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was shown in the form of dance and songs by children draped in rich costumes.

Bhagawan also cut a cake brought by a few office bearers of the Organisation of Medak district as the tiny tots presented roses to Bhagawan and sought His blessings. The programme slated for the evening was a ballet “Sambhavami Yuge Yuge”.

The first scene showed the divine couple Siva Parvati dancing on a slightly raised platform while children danced in the performing area. Shirdi Sai Baba giving Darshan was the next scene. What followed was the birth of Bhagawan right from the time Sri Subbaraju, Mother Easwaramma’s father requested Sri Kondama Raju to accept Easwaramma as his daughter-in-law. Interesting anecdotes from the evoloving life of the Avatar was depicted beautifully, that included the depiction of a ball of blue light entering Easwaramma as she was drawing water in a well, Bhagawan going in the streets of Puttaparthi with the village children doing Pandhari Bhajans, the Avatar declaration song, Manasa Bhajare Gurucharanam, etc. The drama ended with the portrayal of Bhagawan’s educational institutions, hospitals and the Medak water project.

The people of this region were immensely benefited with this water project as a large population got pure drinking water. The ballet ended on a crescendo, the high note being the song “Jai Jai Sai Ram, Jai Jai Sai Ram. Sarveswarude Sathya Saiga Avatarinchinaadu Maanavaa Jaathini Mahonnathamuga Teerchi Diddhinaadu…” (God Himself has incarnated in the form of Sri Sathya Sai and is uplifting mankind and transforming them into noble beings…)

All the children converged in the performing area, Bhagawan upon accepting Arathi, went amidst them for a photograph session, even interacted with the two children who played the role of little Sathya and spent some time with the children. After Prasadam and clothes were distributed to the cast Bhagawan retired to His abode for the day at 2030 hrs.
