" Many of you are thinking that swami is not keeping good health over the last few days. In fact my
health is very good. Real health is not related to body. As you equate Swami with this physical frame, it appears as though Swami is not well. Dear Readers,

Sai Ram. Here is an update on Swami’s health. Posted on March 31, 2011 at 11:45 am

As was announced earlier, Swami had a pacemaker implanted on the evening of Monday, March 28. Following this, on March 29, Radio Sai broadcast a statement released by Dr. A. N. Safaya, Director, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prashanti Gram. As we said then, the procedure was completely successful, Swami was doing fine,

top

and also had a good night’s rest.

We did not broadcast any subsequent bulletins because the hospital authorities assured us that all Swami needed now was some good rest and of course, in a sterile atmosphere.

Meanwhile, we have received numerous enquiries expressing great concern and anxiety, which is perfectly understandable. By way of reassuring all devotees and also by way of strongly refuting the flood of baseless rumours floating all over on various media, Radio Sai wishes to make the following categorical announcement:

1. After the procedure on March 28, senior doctors are on constant attendance.

2. Repeated checks of all relevant body functions are being made, and all are absolutely satisfactory.

3. Everything is being done to assist speedy recovery, as also to ensure maximum comfort for Swami.

4. Meanwhile, upon seeing the news bulletin about Swami in the press, several leading doctors of the country rushed here, including Dr. P. Venugopal, the eminent heart surgeon from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

(It may be recalled that Dr. Venugopal performed the first and the historic surgery on the morning of 22nd November 1991, immediately following the inauguration of Swami’s hospital in Puttaparthi by the then Prime Minister Mr. P. V. Narasimha Rao.)

Dr. Venugopal came here to personally make sure that all that ought to be done is being done.

We are happy to inform you that Dr. Venugopal as well as all the other doctors who came here are completely satisfied that everything is fine and there is absolutely no need for any anxiety.

top

The unanimous opinion is that the more the rest that Bhagawan gets, the faster would be the recovery.

In view of this, we earnestly appeal to one and all to continue offering prayers of Love emanating from the Heart. And kindly, PLEASE DO NOT send e-mails to each other based on all kinds of unfounded rumours, of which there are more than what we need.

Let us not spend our time and energy gathering news from any source possible most of which we know is unauthentic and baseless. Instead let us spend every second in prayer, meditation and most important practising His teachings.

God, who is above TIME, wears a human form to be amongst us not only to shower His Love and Grace, but also to show us how to sanctify Time. This is the hour when, if we are really serious and concerned about our dearest Swami, we must do what pleases Him most.

And what is it that pleases Swami the most? Let us listen to this: (
Bhajan - Dina Dukhio Se Prem Karo mera Sai Prasanna Hoga Prem Karo Prem Karo Mera Sai Prasanna Hoga ...)

Let us all remember that Swami is in every being. Let us broaden our hearts and serve Him by reaching out to the needy. This is what will make our Swami most happy.

Let us think of Him constantly to the exclusion of everything else. Let us love Him more than we have ever done before. Let us pray to Him to return to good health so that He is with us, amongst us, in the ashram.

Thank you very much. Sairam.

Regards,

Radio Sai Team.

Dear reader, Swami had a restful night and is doing well. There is absolutely no room for any anxiety and all indications are that Swami would soon be back with us in the Ashram.

Meanwhile, let us all pray to Swami, this time not for ourselves but for His physical well-being. Swami is above the body; yet, out of infinite compassion for humanity, He has donned one so as to guide us
.

Right now, humanity is passing through all the crises it is capable of creating for itself. This is when we need Bhagawan most in His physical aspect and it is our duty wherever we are, to respectfully pray to Him, for Him.

All the vital systems in Swami's body are functioning properly and there is no need to worry. Sathya Sai’s condition improving

March 30, 2011
By DC Correspondent
Sathya Sai’s condition improving

It was the sudden ill health and news of hospitalisation of Sri Sathya Sai Baba that has caused anxiety amongst his devotees across the world. However, doctors treating him assured that he is recuperating well and is responding to the treatment.

Sathya Sai Baba, was admitted in the Sri Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital in Puttaparthi, following a cardiac ailment on Monday. He is said to be recovering under the constant care of a panel of medical experts there.

According to a medical bulletin released by hospital director Dr A.N. Safaya, Baba had a restful night and his condition was progressing. Earlier, a team of doctors reached Puttaparthi from Bengaluru by helicopter to monitor Baba's health. Doctors said his heart was responding well to a pacemaker and there was no need for worry. They said that Baba would be discharged in a couple of days.

According to sources at Sri Sathya Sai Super-Speciality Hospital in Whitefield, the condition of Sai Baba is now stable. He was rushed to the Sri Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital in Puttaparthi after he complained of severe breathing problem and congestion, on Monday evening.

While devotees are praying fervently for the wellbeing of Sai Baba, there are many who have taken to social networking sites to post prayers for him.

48 HOURS IN THE HOSPITAL, SWAMI'S HEALTH MAKING GREAT PROGRESS...
Om Sairam dearest Sai Family,
There is an absolute silence in Puttaparthi. The little Spiritual hamlet which used be to buzzing with tons of activity, anxious devotees lining up for darshans, busy flowers girls selling flowers and coconuts, busy auto rickshaw drivers driving slowly infront of Ganesh gate asking you for a ride, all these activities have come to a stand still with the absence of Swami. In spite of a much hyped India Pakistan Cricket match there were quite a lot of devotees who attended today's evening bhajan, praying intensely for our beloved Lord to get well soon.
Its now 48 hours since Swami's Divine Leela in Sri Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital and Swami is still in the hospital. Today there were so many unwanted rumours making rounds about His health but when all His children across the world were praying for our beloved Lord, He is bound to recover.
The good news is that Swami's health is getting better and better and speaking on medical parameters He is responding to the treatment very positively.
It is an emotional time for the students of our beloved Lord, for whom 31st March will be the last day of their academic year and it would be very painful moments for the last year students in particular as they may have to leave the campus probably for the first time in the history of Sri Sathya Sai University, without having His darshan and without taking His PHYSICAL blessings, but it is all part and parcel of the DIVINE script.
Brothers and Sisters, lets intensify our prayers and our beloved Lord will definitely come home soon and give us His loving darshans.
Once more it is appealed not to give any importance to any rumours about Swami's health condition He is absolutely fine....

"Sai Baba was rushed to the hospital after he complained of breathlessness. The doctors conducted check ups and found out that Baba was suffering from lung infection and fluids in the lungs. The doctors however have stated that Baba is quite fine and there is nothing to worry at all. Trust board member Ratnakar also asked the devotees not to worry as Baba’s health was quite all right now. - Source: bharatwaves.com"

29th March: Om Sairam dearest Sai Family,
The news now is official that a permanent pacemaker has been implanted to Swami. Swami who was admitted to the Sri Sathya Sai Super Speciality hospital on the 28th march around 3.30 pm, with complaints of dizziness, lower pulse rate and also symptoms of Pneumonia is still in the hospital. The doctors have also removed excess fluids from His lungs. It was a great shock for devotees of our beloved Lord and almost everyone is crying after hearing the news. Swami out of His immense mercy, has definitely taken up a worst disaster to the mankind upon Himself thus this admission into the hospital.

Being born in this holy land and hailing from Brahamanapalli village right behind Swami's super speciality hospital, it gives immense pain in the heart to know that Swami who MASTERED this SUPER NATURAL Super Speciality hospital, had to get admitted in this own hospital on medical grounds.
The place where the hospital stands now, was a barren land, with some huts here and there and infact this area was called KOTTALU( meaning group of huts).Even buses wouldn't stop in this area until our Lord WILLED to bring in brother Issac Tigrett and the rest is HIS story.

Even while typing this message, it is very very hard to believe that our Lord is admitted in hospital on medical grounds. Over the years, Swami was very kind to make visits to this hospital on several occasions, either to inspect its functioning or to fill in confidence and courage to His dearest devotees admitted in this hospital.

When Swami Himself is on the other end, one would be very confused and helpless as what can be done, other than chanting the most powerful Gayathri mantra or any prayer of our belief.

top
Almost every country had special prayers for Swami, some prayed for Him the whole night and the whole hearted prayers of His beloved devotees has shown the positive effect as the reports that are coming about His progress are very satisfying and hopefully, Swami willing, He will get back to His normal routine very soon.

The last time Swami was in the super speciality hospital was to visit his nephew a month ago and I am sure He knew what was in the offering in the near future.

It is very hard to believe that our Swami whom we consider as our own heart beat, is now on a pacemaker. Really wished and hoped that this was a dream, but as Swami says, LIFE IS INDEED A DREAM, REALISE IT. All this is nothing but His DIVINE LEELA which really hurts for any one who loves Him so dearly. Over the years, we remember Swami, who is always active, smiling at us, joking with us, consoling us, correcting us and above all Loving us. Nothing ever about Swami will change, come what may, but Lets all pray with much more devotion to avoid any unforeseen occurrences (which only Swami knows), to His body or to the mankind.

On many occasions, Swami has said that Mother Eswaramma visits Him physically and enquires His well being, I am not sure what the CHOSEN mother would be going through especially during these troubled times. For Mother Eswaramma, Swami was Her everything.

Yesterday evening, Swami's nephew, who is also a member of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, brother Ratnakar, who has just recovered from the accident, made an announcement about Swami's health that He is fine and the permanent pacemaker was implanted.

top
In many discourses, Swami has said that He is not the body and not to get deluded about His physical body, but emotionally it is almost impossible for us to accept this fact.

Brothers and sisters, lets get united and chant His holy name for Him to get better. This Kali Age world needs Him badly and His mission has already begun, lets join Him in His mission to make this planet earth, a place FIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION.

With Pranams at the Lotus Feet of our beloved Lord,
R.Satish Naik

with no intention of creating any sensation, with no intention of misleading or worrying our beloved Lord's devotees' sentiments, and with due respect to our beloved Lord and His ashram I am sharing this sad news that our beloved Lord, has been hospitalised in His own magnificient Super Speciality Hospital this evening of 28th March 2011.
Since this happened there were so many phone calls made from all corners of the world enquiring about His health. The local reporters did come to a consensus that they wouldn't publish this news as it is a very delicate one and also bit annoying to the millions of His devotees all over the world if they come to know that Swami is hospitalised on health grounds. But due to today's technological advancement in communication this news was known all over and the local media had to report the news of Swami's illness and He being admitted in hospital before the news gets diluted and blown out of proportion.
Swami didnt give darshan on the 26th and also on the 27th darshan was cancelled. Every one of us didn't give much preference as Swami had been coming out for darshan on and off in the recent past This evening, we all thought, Swami will come out for darshan but at around 3.30 pm, Swami's car drove to the super hospital and the next thing we heard was He has been admitted and doctors were treating Him.
Around 7pm, the local TV channels confirmed that Swami has been admitted in the hospital.According to relaiable sources, and reports from local news channels, Swami is suffering (Swami's BODY) from Pneumonia and He was given treatment for the same. There were also news that His pulse rate was low when He came to the hospital.

top
But now because of prayers and wishes of His beloved devotees, Swami is much much better and there is no need to panic any more, even though Swami will be spending the night of the 28th in His hospital
It is a small appeal for every one who is reading this email: DO NOT GIVE ANY ATTENTION TO ANY SENSATIONAL NEWS ABOUT HIS HEALTH. THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO
ONLY SPREAD RUMOURS, CONFUSING AND MISLEADING DEVOTEES.
Swami is absolutely fine and no one of us should have any second thoughts about His PHYSICAL CONDITION.
Swami the DIVINE DIRECTOR of this Universe, only knows, the significance behind this LEELA. As He has said in many discourses, there is so much of NEGATIVITY in this
world that it is affecting His PHYSICAL BODY. It is not the first time that He has taken up OUR pain onto Himself, so that we would experience less pain and atleast
by doing so, we will understand how important is righteousness and ethics in our life.
As I type this email, in the middle of the night, in complete disbelief and dismay, Iam praying the OMNISCIENCE AND OMNIPOTENCE SWAMI for the PHYSICAL BODY of Swami, which is there in the super hospital, to become hail and healthy.
Only our prayers can help Swami to get back to normal.
There are so many countries which have already started chanting Rudram and Gayathri mantra, for Swami to get better at the earliest.
Once again, it is appealed not to give any attention to any rumours and hopefully we will have a good news tomorrow morning.
My Dear Swami, Please get better soon.. we love you so much..
(I also want to apologise if there were any mistakes in this email which hopefully will be the last one of ITS KIND.)
With pranams at Your Lotus Feet,
R.Satish Naik.

Estimados lectores,

Sai Ram.
