Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Delhi visit
Posted at 2115 IST on April 16, 2010
After almost a week-full of His all-encompassing presence, Delhi is
taking a short break before embracing Him yet again on His return
from Shimla. Bhagawan’s days in Delhi have been filled with
activities galore as He chose to move from one place to another
conferring Divine benediction. While the Punjabi New Year Day,
Baisakhi, was marked with “Vastradaan”, distribution of clothes, the
next day Bhagawan chose to visit Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar at
Kalkajee Extension Area to watch a presentation by students on
the
Sathya Sai Saga, entitled “Sai Katha”. Amidst hectic schedule,
Bhagawan found time to bless guests of eminence who flock to have
His darshan, bless sevadal contingents and to top it all, blessing
vast concourse of devotees. Be it one or a million, be he or she be
positioned in the front or at the last most ‘unnoticed’, nothing
escapes His attention and He reaches out to the right person at the
right time! This was evident when, on the Baisakhi Day, spotting a
mentally challenged child, Bhagawan asked the sevadal to go and give
a “special” vibhuti packet to the “hapless” child! And the mother’s
joy knew no bounds, as she was in tears…tears of joy, joy of being
under the limelight, Divine Attention! On the 15th April, after six
days of blessing and dispersing joy, Bhagawan along with His
entourage moved over to Shimla for a short visit, a visit that
happened after thirty-five long years.
