Religion and Devotion
There is only one religion, the religion of Love;
There is only one language, the language of the Heart;
There is only one caste, the caste of Humanity;
There is only one law, the law of Karma;
There is only one God, He is Omnipresent.
True devotion must not get dispirited; nor elated or satisfied with
lesser gains; it must fight against failure, loss, calumny, calamity,
ridicule and against egoism and pride, impatience and cowardice.
Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, let the glory of God
be sung in all languages in a variety of tunes. That should be the
ideal. Respect the differences between the faiths and recognize them as
