September 27th 1838 – According to Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Shirdi Sai Baba was actually born on 27 September 1838.

October 15th 1918 – Shirdi Sai Baba entered Mahasamadhi.

November 23rd 1926 – Sathya Sai Baba born as “Sathyanarayana Raju” to Peda Venkappa Raju and Easwaramma.

1940 – At the tender age of 14, Sathya Sai Baba declared his mission.

July 5th 1941 – July 6th 1942 – Sathya Sai Baba attended the Bukkapatnam school.

July 1st 1943 – Sathya Sai Baba attended the Uravakonda School.

May 25th 1947 – Sathya Sai Baba, at the age of 21, declared his mission as: “I have a task to foster all mankind and ensure lives full of ananda. I have a vow; to lead all those who stray away from goodness back to goodness and save them. I am attached to the work that I love; to remove the sufferings of the poor and grant them what they lack.”

1950 – Sathya Sai Mandir at Puttaparthi under construction.

December 1950 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Hampi.

August 8th 1951 – Sathya Sai Akhanda Bhajans held at Bangalore.

1952 – Sathya Sai Baba celebrated Shivarathri at Neeladri Rao’s house.

June 30th 1953 – Sathya Sai Baba brought back to life V. Radhakrishna.

March 15th 1954 – Sathya Sai Baba at the Yerpedu River.

November 23rd 1954 – Sathya Sai Baba laid the foundation stone for the Hospital behind Prashanti Nilayam.

February 2nd 1955 – Linga emerged from Sathya Sai Baba on Shivarathri.

March 1st 1956 - Krishnama Raju marriage.

March 1957 – All India Divine Life Conference held at Venkatagiri.

July 4th 1957 – Sathya Sai Baba planted the Vatavriksha (Meditation tree).

October 1957 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates the Hospital behind Prasanthi Nilayam.

August 2nd 1957 – Sathya Sai Baba reaches Kashmir Valley stayed in the boat house.

November 15th 1957 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Dehra Dun, gives Darshan to a devotee on deathbed.

February 2nd 1958 – Kannan High School, Chitthoor.

February 16th 1958 – Publication of Sanathana Sarathi started.

February 23rd 1958 – Chitravathi River Bed, Puttaparthi.

March 3rd 1958 – B. Z. High School, Chitthoor.

March 25th 1958 – Sathya Sai Baba at Gokhake Hall, Madras.

December 22nd 1958 – Sathya Sai Baba visited Kanyakumari and on his pronouncement, the ocean rushed to bathe Baba’s feet and left a garland of translucent pearls around them.

April 1959 – Sathya Sai Baba under Banyan Tree in Thapovana.

1958 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates Santhana Sarathi.

June 21st 1959 – Sathya Sai Baba saves a devotee from a fire in Madras.

February 26th 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba installs Shirdi Sai Statue in Nagaswamy Mandir.

March 28th 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba addresses a Mammoth gathering in Madras.

April 2nd 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Kasi Vishwanath Temple in Banares.

April 3rd 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Allahabad Triveni Sangam.

April 3rd 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Delhi.

June 9th 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba reaches Haridwar.

June 11th 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba blessed Brahmakund.

June 12th 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba leaves for Badrinath.

June 21st 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba reaches Madras.

July 4th 1961 – Sathya Sai Baba returns to Prasanthi Nilayam.

December 1962 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates Prayer Hall in Perambur.

October 6th 1961 – Commencement of the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagna during Dassera.

October 16th 1962 – Inauguration of All India Prashanthi Vidwan Maha Sabha.

July 6th 1963 – Guru Purnima: The miracle of compassion. Sathya Sai Baba took upon himself the paralysis of a devotee and also announced himself as Shiva -Shakthi Swaroopa.

April 13th 1964 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates the Mysore State Prasanthi from Bangalore (White Field ).

June 7th 1965 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates the Maharashtra Branch of Vidwanmahasubha at Shanmukhananda Hall, Mumbai.

1965 – Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi (later christened Sri Sathya Sai Organisation) founded.

1966 – Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas started.

August 4th 1967 – Prasanthi Nilayam declared as township.

May 12th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates Dharmakshetra, an architectural jewel built on an elevated spot, commanding a panoramic view of the of Mumbai.

May 16th 1968 – Inauguration of the First World Conference by Sri Satya Sai Baba.

1968 – Dassera: Sathya Sai Baba makes clear that He is both Sanathana Sarathi and Parthasarthi.

May 18th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba lights a lamp that would be kept perpetually burning at Dharmakshetra, aimed at dispelling the darkness within the human heart.

May 19th 1968 – Valedictory function at the conference.

May 24th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Navasari and Surat on way to Baroda.

June 10th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba returns to Nilayam.

June 30th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba boards the Boeing flight leaving for East Africa from Bombay. Reaches Nairobi at noon.

July 1st 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba reaches Kampala at 1.30 a.m.

July 3rd 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba flies over the Ngorongoro Crater the largest concentration of wild life in Africa. Gives His first discourse in Africa.

July 5th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba visits the National Park and proceeds to Hippo Pool.

July 6th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Kenyan Highlands.

July 7th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba addresses the first public meets at Kampala.

July 8th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba addresses another vast gathering at Kampala.

July 10th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba initially plans to leave for India on the occasion of Guru Poornima but decides to spend the day at Kampala. Talks to about 200 young men and women who served as volunteers in the afternoon.

July 11th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba meets Sadhakas and Active Workers from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

July 12th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba proceeds to the Murchison Falls National Park.

July 14th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba leaves for Bombay.

July 15th 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba addresses a mammoth gathering at Dharmakshetra. Declares that racial conflicts and animosities spring from sheer ignorance of the brotherhood of man.

July 22nd 1968 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates Women’s college in Anantapur.

June 9th 1969 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates Boy’s college with the Chief Minister of Mysore State Sri. Veranda Patel. The aim of the college is to provide a complete education viz., Karma-marga, Dharma-Marga and Brahma-Marga.

July 25th 1969 – Akhand Bhajan held at the Lal Bag Gardens in the Glass House.

October 20th – 28th 1969 – Sathya Sai Baba tours the Districts of North Mysore

January 16th 1969 – Sathya Sai Baba goes to Rajahmundry on the Godavari river.

January 17th + 18th 1969 – Sathya Sai Baba, Sri. V. K. Rao and Swami Karunyananda gave speeches. “Let your love and longing desire and search be directed towards God.” Gives a discourse to the staff of Andhra Paper Mills.

January 20th – 25th 1969 – Sathya Sai Baba goes on a merciful mission of love to Kesavaram, Kotapadu, Bandaralanka Amalapuram and Manepalli etc.,

January 26th 1969 – Shivarathri Day: Sathya Sai Baba addresses the Lions Club hosting of the Prasanthi Flag Lingothbharam.

1969 – Dasara: “To celebrate Dassera at Prasanthi Nilayam is need a rare change replete with wonder and joy ensuring peace by the extinction of the six enemies.” – Sathya Sai Baba

October 20th 1969 – At Valedictory rite of the Yajna, Sathya Sai Baba creates a nine gem necklace for the chief priest. During Abhishekam of Shirdi Baba, Bhagawan created a sparkling eight-starred jewel of gold and stuck it on the forehead of the silver idol.

November 7th 1969 – Sathya Sai Baba laid the foundation for a magnificent building for a Women’s College at Anantapur.

November 23rd 1969 – 3rd All India conference of the Office Bearers of the Sri Sathya Seva Organisations in Prasanthi Nilayam. “Here is the Shiva Shakthi born in human form to lead mankind towards Him,” Sathya Sai Baba declares.

December 31st 1969 – Meeting of the Sathya Sai Seva Organisations in Mysore.

May 9th 1970 – Sathya Sai Baba leaves Brindavan for Bombay, on the way visits Poona.

May 15th 1970 – Sathya Sai Baba visits Dwaraka from Jamnagar goes to Mithaput. Sathya Sai Baba manifested a 15 inches high golden statue of Lord Krishna.

May 17th 1970 – Sathya Sai Baba opens Digvijaya Dwar (Gateway of Victory) at Somnath. Materialises 108 golden flowers in a shower and pours on the Linga. Teleports the original Linga under the Duplicate Linga in the shine.

May 20th 1970 – Sathya Sai Baba leaves Bombay for Brindavan.

May 1972 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurates the First Summer Course on Indian Culture & Spirituality.

July 20th 1972 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurated the Smt. Eswaramma High School at Puttaparthi.

October 17th 1972 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurated the Poornachandra Auditorium in Prashanthi Nilayam.

April 5th 1973 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurated Shivam in Hyderabad, the Capital of Andhra Pradesh.

August 26th 1975 – Sathya Sai Baba turned back a Chitravathi river flood to save the village of Puttaparthi.

November 23rd 1975 – Second World Conference held at Prashanthi Nilayam on Sathya Sai Baba’s 50th birthday celebrations. Inauguration of Sarva Dharma Aikya Stupa and helicopter darshan.

August 28th 1976 – Inauguration of the Sri Sathya Sai Hospital at Whitefield, Bangalore.

1978 – Sathya Sai Baba inaugurated the Sri Sathya Sai College Building at Brindavan in Bangalore, the Capital of Karnataka.

July 1st 1979 – Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai College, Prasanthi Nilayam.

November 11th 1980 – Third World Conference held at Prashanthi Nilayam on Sathya Sai Baba’s 55th birthday celebrations.

November 23rd 2008 – Sathya Sai Baba’s 83rd birthday celebrations and Sahasra Poorna Chandra Darshana Shanthi Mahotsavam.
