Our beloved Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba has incarnated on
this earth to guide, help and support us through the
coming difficult times of this Kali Yuga.
We have always sought His grace, love and support
through our difficult times. And He, being the complete
Incarnation of Love, has never let us down.
Now it is up to us not to let Him down. In July 2003
after His hip operation He said “What medicine did I
use? The intense prayers of the devotees are My
medicine....This body is not Mine. It is yours. Hence,
it is your responsibility to look after this body…I have
never used My divine power to cure myself…” [ Guru
Purnima Discourse 2003, P5 ]
Then in August 2003 He said: “the loving prayers of My
devotees will heal me...the prayer of the devotees is
the panacea for this body. Their prayers have given Me
immense bliss”. [ 19 August 2003, Krishnashtami,
Prasanthi Nilayam - P6]
Once again, through this spiritual penance we want to
pray to Him to strengthen this bond of Love between a
Father and a child.
We should not be under any illusion that any apparent
physical limitations in His body in any way affect Our
Lord’s omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience or the
inevitable success of His avataric mission. Rather, it
is out of His infinite compassion for us that He is
prompting us to express our love for Him through prayers
which will support Him and His body in His divine
mission to bring peace on earth
This sadhana of love will express our intense devotion
and adoration for our Lord just as He has lovingly
prompted us to do. In this way, we can raise ourselves
up from mere selfish desires and unite together in
selfless love.
We want to invite all those who think in the same way to
come join us in this pure, unselfish and divine
endeavour.
