of the Talk by
Mr. VSR Murthy on the Occasion of Avatar Declaration Day - 20 Oct
|Recalling the historic day,
reminiscing the epoch-making Divine Drama enacted to this day’s
credit 74 years ago, ‘Avatar Declaration’ by Sri Sathya Sai,
Prasanthi Nilayam celebrated the grand occasion this evening with
much devotional fervour.
The evening session commenced at 1715 hrs. with a speech by veteran devotee and orator VSR Murthy from Hyderabad. Delivering a forceful and captivating speech in flowing Telugu, catching the essence of Sri Sathya Sai Avatar, Sri Murthy exhorted fellow pilgrims to become messengers of Sathya Sai by following Bhagawan’s teachings. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai not only preached but also made His Life His Message; Sri Sathya Sai not only resorted to Pracharana (propagation) but Prasad (transmission) also, said the erudite speaker reiterating the absolute need to follow Bhagawan’s precepts. The learned and eloquent speaker concluded his inspiring rhetoric by exhorting devotees to make a resolve on this auspicious day to make their lives a Message Of Sai.
Mr Murthy, a “Spiritual Scientist” as Bhagawan Himself has christened, has authored 12 books on Bhagawan and also has performed more than thousand Sai Bhagavathams, speaking on the glory of His Advent.
Prema Pravaham followed next. Coupled with a video presentation, catching up vibes from nostalgic days of young Sathya Sai, students burst into singing the popular 85th Birthday composition, “Prema Pravaham”, the song that resonates and reflects the matchless, supreme glory of Sathya Sai Avatar. One more devotional number, “Sai Charanam Baba Charanam Charanam…” followed before commencing the bhajans. Bhajans ended with Bhagwan singing His ‘primal’ bhajan, “Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam…” exhorting one and all to worship the Feet Of Guru…SadhGuru SaiNath…!!!
Mangala Arathi at 1810 hrs. marked the end of the proceedings.
