Sairam to all
today its a Sunday and a holiday, here in Whitefield-BANGALORE. we arrive for
darshan of swami the time is 6 am the gates are open and we enter the ashram.
The festive look is still there inside the ashram.
There are small colourful triangle flags strung all along the portico,
cleaning and swiping of the floor is going on in Sai Ramesh hall,
the flowers on the pillars have been removed ,but below the stage chandelier we
can see 3 rows of beautiful flowers arranged all along the rectangle stage in a
u formation... ...looks good. banners saying MOTHER ESWARAMMA DAY CELEBRATIONS
have not been removed in the hall too probably spilling over of the celebrations
to today too..
by the time we get in to sit the time is 7:30am and the hall is full by now and
eagerly awaiting the darshan of Swami
at 8:10 am we hear the music start and the stage lights are on ....
bhajans start with Om Om aum....GAJANANA JAI GAJANANA>> prathama poojitha

Swami arrives within 5 minutes on stage and sits down on his sofa
its the turn of the ladies singers to sing next alternately who sing a few
bhajans praising mother Easwaramma.the boys sing in a higher pitch next
prompting loud claps from all in the hall. Swami is deeply engrossed in
the singing..... till 8:40am when he signals to get up but there is movement
behind the stage and we again see students bring prasadam in huge boxes and
containers Swami blesses it and signals to distribute prasadam to all
..................
amazingly not a soul moves from their seats and its distributed in 5 minutes to
all because swami is seated [usually we see lots of commotion at the
distribution otherwise] the boys come back to the stage but Swami is seated till
9;10 am when he signals for Aarti ......jai Jagdeesh hare Swami Satya
saihare..........................
Om Shanti shanthi shanthi... a student offers a rose to Swami ,who lovingly
accepts and puts it back into the pocket of the student....
Swami slowly returns back escorted by a very tall student .after an hour of
darshan............... there is silence all around and soon bhajans resume since
today is Sunday they will go on till evening darshan. We got a soft fresh
rectangle PEDA as prasad today [different from usual laddo] and as i share a
piece i hope all of you may please feel the taste too ] really a great way to
end the morning darshan with prasad
