To, All Directors in Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation and Members and Advisors, Prashanti Council; All Zonal Chairmen, SSO (Overseas); All State Presidents and State Trust Convenors, SSSO (India). Dear Sisters and Brothers, Loving Sairam…!

Re.: Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust - Corpus Scheme By now, all of you must have definitely seen and gone through the notice issued in March 2011 issue of Sanathana Sarathi by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust which states that: With effect from 1 December 2010, Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust stands merged with Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. As a result, the hospitals run by Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust, viz.

1. Sri Sathya Sai Institutes of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram and Whitefield;

2. Sri Sathya Sai General Hospitals, Prasanthi Nilayam and Whitefield and

3. Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital.are now being run by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

That the Government of India has permitted Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust to receive donations towards the project (originally approved to be run by Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust) titled:

 “(A) Running and Maintenance of Sri Sathya Sai Institutes of Higher Medical Sciences at Prasanthigram (Andhra Pradesh) and at Whitefield, Bangalore (Karnataka);

 (B) Running and Maintenance of Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital;

(C) Building a Corpus Fund for the Trust." The donations made for the said project qualify for 100% deduction from income under Section 35AC/8OGGA of the Income Tax Act 1961, from 1 December 2010 to 31 March 2013.

Consequently, donations by Cheque/Demand Draft towards running of the above hospitals may be made in favour of "Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust", accompanied by a covering letter mentioning that the donation is for 35AC Project.

If the donation is intended towards the Corpus Fund of the Trust, the same may be specifically mentioned in the covering letter.

 I am indeed very happy that the Secretary, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has put forth the scheme for overall information of all.

On going through the said notice, I feel that the time has now come for all of us to perform our prime duty to see as to how the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust can continue singing the Glory of Revered Bhagavan in perpetuity by managing, developing, protecting and maintaining the Sri Sathya Sai Educare, Medicare and Sociocare institutions ( which are unique milestones in the history of mankind and eternal monuments of Sacrifice and Love) for thousands of years for the benefit of the future generation and thereby spread the name, fame and mission of Revered Bhagavan among the posterity.

 Point no. (C) in the said notice i.e. ‘Building a Corpus Fund for the Trust, addresses a reply.

I have gone through and studied the said corpus scheme and I find the same as unique and major in nature for any charitable institution in the world. This scheme is definitely a role model for many more public service institutions to follow.

There is no doubt that the corpus scheme will create tremendous confidence, feeling of fulfillment and encouragement among the Sai fraternity to undertake all service activities which not only be long lasting but also expandable manifold, all across the globe, from time to time.

The very purpose of having the scheme is to widen the scope of the seva work under the auspices of SSSOs to cover all those areas which are erstwhile not covered in many parts of India and in many regions and zones in the World.

It is a matter of privilege that Revered Bhagavan has bestowed one more opportunity to all of us for continuing our participation in His Divine Mission perpetually.

In case you are interested to have more details or clarifications on the corpus scheme, please address an e-mail on ihs99999@gmail.com I shall be happy to guide you further. Warm Regards, Ever in His Service, Indulal Shah International Advisor, SSO (Overseas) and Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust _____________________________________________________________________
